The SMSCarrier service is operated in such a way as to ensure that customers ALWAYS have access to the service and that overall service availability is 100%. |
SMSCarrier utilises HSL's proven and advanced technical messaging infrastructure and provides reliable service, high availability and low delivery latency for customers connecting using the SMPP (Short Message Peer to Peer) protocol. The service is operated to provide a higher reliability and quality of service than available from any individual mobile network's own SMSC access service.

Technical details of the service can be found in the Technical section including protocol support, message delivery architecture and infrastructure details. Billing Customers are invoiced monthly in arrears with traffic volume to each country clearly indicated on the invoice for each of their SMPP accounts. Standard credit terms are 14-days for at least the first 6-months of service. Billing in GB Pounds Sterling takes place on the 1st of each calendar month.
